IPANZ is non-partisan. We treasure our independence. We seek to identify issues relevant to the public sector and to expose them to systematic analysis and informed debate. We encourage the presentation and testing of contrasting views in a neutral and respectful environment.
IPANZ promotes best practice, competence and professionalism in policy development and public sector management. We model this approach by acting in a fair, neutral and businesslike manner with members, associates, seminar speakers and sponsors. We also promote cooperation, fellowship and the sharing of knowledge among our members and others interested in the public sector.
IPANZ aims for financial self-sufficiency. We do not seek to accumulate profit, but only to have our activities meet their costs, with sufficient resources to ensure adequate working capital and financial stability.
