IPANZ is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation committed to promoting improvements in public policy and in administration and management across New Zealand's public sector – both in central and local government. We do this by providing a platform for vibrant debate on emerging and controversial issues and a forum for networking, ideas, learning and development.
IPANZ has recently presented the annual prize to the top student in public management at Victoria University.

The Better Public Services programme has found many examples of where the public sector has thought about things very differently and found innovative solutions to today's challenges, improving outcomes for New Zealanders. These case studies are intended to provoke thinking on how the benefits of innovation could be harnessed across the wider public service.
