New Professionals - Meet the Chiefs Breakfast with Meng Foon

Meng Foon, Race Relations Commissioner from the Human Rights Commission spoke to the New Professionals about his career at this breakfast event. He had some great insight such as, “If you every want to know how popular you are, stand for an election!”

He also spoke about how going to work should be like going on a first date – make sure to ask lots of questions and be on your best behaviour! Meng also shared some very practical advice such as telling people what you want so they can help you achieve those goals, in both work and private life - there’s no point keeping it a secret. Meng also told us about his three A’s – awareness, affirmation and action.
