IPANZ facilitated a fascinating discussion on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector. Speakers from Local and Central Government provided insights about the uses and risks for the Public Sector.

Speakers, Sean Audain, City Innovation Lead, Wellington City Council; Kate MacDonald, New Zealand Government Representative to the OECD Network of AI Experts; and Rachael Milicich, Deputy Government Statistician and DCE for Insights and Statistics, shared their views about some the technology that is already being used by Public Sector agencies, the benefits and risks of using AI, and where to next.
